    Workplace Code of Conduct

    We uphold the belief that employees are our “most valuable asset” and respect the individuality of each employee, fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.

    1. We comply with labor, health, safety, and environmental laws and regulations in the locations where we operate, as well as relevant international standards.
    2. We prohibit the employment of child labor and forced labor, and we do not accept any suppliers who employ child labor or engage in forced labor.

    EHS Policy

    The company has always placed a high priority on employee workplace safety and health management, and considers it a matter of respect and responsibility towards our customers, employees, suppliers, and society. To this end, the company implements safety and health education and training, conducts health checkups, and promotes safety and health matters, including injury and illness prevention, fire safety, electric shock prevention, fall prevention, traffic accident prevention, and property loss prevention, to reduce the probability of employees experiencing hazards. Meanwhile, the company has also obtained ISO 45001 certification for its Occupational Safety and Health Management System, ensuring systematic protection of employee safety. In addition, the company conducts annual routine safety inspections to ensure facilities and equipment are clean, well-maintained, and provide sufficient, fully functional, and clean restrooms and washing facilities.The company also regularly updates relevant internal education and training based on the manufacturing process to enhance employees’ awareness and capabilities in safety and health, and their response methods in the event of occupational disasters.

    ESH Management System

    The company adheres to ISO 45001: 2018 In 2018, the requirements and policies for the Occupational Safety and Health Management System standard were established, and the EHS management system review is conducted annually.


    To ensure that employees work in the safest environment, the company provides new employees with necessary safety equipment, including safety helmets, safety glasses, construction vests, and cleanroom work bags, and requires all employees going to client sites to wear personal protective equipment. Considering that safety shoes are prone to wear and tear, which may affect their protective function and increase work injury risk, the company provides a subsidy of NT $800 per employee each year to purchase new safety shoes that fit well, ensuring employees work under comprehensive protection.

    Workplace Health Management

    The company provides regular annual health checkups for employees, including those required before new employees report for duty. The company covers the cost of necessary items, which assess a range of health indicators to ensure employees are fit for their roles. In terms of psychological care for employees, the company provides questionnaires and phone consultation services, allowing employees to seek individual assistance and guidance from nurses to ensure their holistic health.


    Health Check-up Items Provided by GENIIDEAS:

    1. New employees must complete a health checkup and submit the required results before their start date.
    2. Employees are entitled to one day of birthday leave and a free health check-up in the month of their birthday the year after their confirmation of employment.
    3. Employees under the age of 35 are eligible for a legally mandated health checkup at a partner health checkup center on their birthday (once a year).
    4. Employees aged 35 or older with at least three years of service are entitled to a comprehensive health checkup (once every three years).
    Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

    Since 2023, the company has introduced an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and partnered with the professional team at Yulian Mental Health Volunteer Group to provide support services to all employees. Through EAP, we can provide counseling and assistance covering work adjustment, interpersonal relationships, marriage, family care, health, legal issues, and other factors that may affect an individual’s work performance. The company also guarantees a certain level of confidentiality and will not disclose or leak personal information without authorization.

    EHS Education and Promotion

    Safety Awareness and Training Commitment

    To effectively prevent work-related injury incidents, GENIIDEAS is committed to continuously implementing and strengthening environmental safety and occupational health education and training in daily operations, thereby enhancing employees’ awareness and compliance with safety operation procedures and ensuring that every employee possesses the knowledge and skills to handle potential hazards and emergency situations.

    Pre-work Education and Regulations
    1. Each year, the Environmental Safety and Health Management Department conducts annual training. As some senior colleagues have completed various special operation courses and obtained relevant licenses and certifications, the company invites them to assist in developing relevant training materials and conduct professional experience sharing sessions. This allows colleagues currently or prospectively involved in related operations to proactively understand potential special operation procedures, and implement hazard prevention and emergency response measures.
    2. There are 11 topics for EHS annual education and training:
      Industrial Safety 6S, gas pipeline dismantling operations, confined space operations, live-line and panel opening operations, aerial work platform operations, lifting operations, rooftop operations, ceiling work, first aid introduction, organic solvent operations, and specific chemical substance operations are designed to ensure employees have a thorough understanding of environmental safety and health-related knowledge and requirements, enhance employee awareness of workplace safety and health, and prevent accidents and injuries. Through education and training, we can reduce workplace accidents and occupational diseases, protecting employee health and safety. At the same time, employees are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to address potential workplace risks, creating a safe, healthy, and efficient work environment.
    3. To further improve the internal education and training system, the company will continue the “Weekly 20-minute on-site instant education and training” program launched in late July 2022. Employees from the Engineering Service Department and Environmental Safety and Health Management Department will conduct on-site EHS education and training courses in the factory area or the company warehouse for 20 minutes before leaving work on a selected day.This training aims to reduce on-site operational hazard risks and achieve the goals of zero defects and zero accidents.At the same time, training courses deepen our colleagues’ hazard awareness and enhance their Engineering EHS professionalism, thereby increasing customer trust in our service quality.
      從 Starting January 1, 2023, we will also incorporate vendors into the 20-minute educational training sessions at all plants, and clearly state the objective of the training. The Environmental Safety and Health Management Department personnel will conduct daily hazard communication briefings before on-site construction, in accordance with management regulations set by customers and the company. They will record the content of these briefings and obtain signatures from all personnel to reduce the incidence of occupational disasters.
    4. For new employees, GENIIDEAS provides comprehensive training to minimize risk within the factory. Starting in 2022, the company added 7 new “Go for it!Newcomers” training videos for new employees, and their audio and video files have been uploaded to the Cloud for employees to access and view at their convenience. Certain departments (new employees in the Engineering Service Department and Environmental Safety and Health Management Department) are required to understand the video content and pass a test with a perfect score to ensure full comprehension of the training materials. :

      As of the end of August 2023, all existing vendor personnel have completed the new employee training course.
    5. Pre-construction Meeting: Employees at all levels can use toolbox talks to submit various safety and health proposals, to which the respective departments or the Environmental Safety and Health Management Department will provide responses. The information on the proposals shall be archived or included in the meeting minutesMeanwhile, employees are informed of various work hazards and the consequences of risks during toolbox talk meetings, with the aim of enabling timely prevention of harm to life or health.
    Fire Emergency Response Training

    GENIIDEAS has taken several measures to ensure safety and security.First, the company correctly maintains electrical equipment and wiring, with covering/insulation to prevent potential risks.Secondly, combustible waste and flammable materials should be stored properly to eliminate fire risks.In addition, we strictly implement first aid training for our colleagues to ensure that relevant personnel have received training in handling and using flammable substances, alarms, and fire extinguishers.

    In addition, in accordance with Taiwanese regulations, GENIIDEAS conducts a unified emergency response drill at least once a yearIn 2023, the company collaborated with the Taichung and Tainan warehouses to conduct fire drills for all employees and hired external professional fire safety instructors to provide training.Through field drills involving evacuation guidance and practical fire extinguisher operation, we enhance disaster prevention awareness and improve our ability to respond to emergencies, ensuring we can effectively implement the principle of “self-help for self-protection.”
