    Greenhouse Gas Inventory

To ensure that the Company’s greenhouse gas emissions inventory and reporting comply with the principles of relevance, completeness, consistency, accuracy, and transparency, GENIIDES has specifically established the “Greenhouse Gas Inventory Management Procedure.” In addition, the Company has formed a “Greenhouse Gas Inventory and Implementation Task Force,” which is responsible for monitoring the operation of the greenhouse gas emission management system and regularly reviewing the Company’s progress and results in implementing its strategies.

    Energy Resource Consumption and Intensity

GENIIDEAS's primary natural resource consumption stems from office facility requirements. As the company's operations do not involve direct manufacturing activities, energy resource consumption is relatively low.Electricity constitutes the main energy source, while fuel consumption includes gasoline and a small amount of diesel.n 2024, total consumption reached 529.60 GJ, with purchased electricity accounting for 59.34% of the total.

    Note:
    1. Primary energy sources are gasoline and diesel; secondary energy is purchased electricity, with no renewable energy currently utilized.
    2. Non-renewable electricity data is sourced from Taipower invoices, with daily average consumption calculated retroactively from invoices, thus eliminating inter-period discrepancies. Gasoline and diesel data is sourced from purchase volume invoice records.
    3. This table presents self-calculated figures. Energy conversion coefficients reference the calorific value coefficients for various energy sources from the Energy Product Unit Calorific Value Table published by the Energy Agency, Ministry of Economic Affairs.2023 values: Electricity: 860 kcal/kWh; Gasoline: 7,800 kcal/L; Diesel: 8,400 kcal/L. 2024 values (using the latest revised values): Electricity: 860 kcal/kWh; Gasoline: 7,520 kcal/L; Diesel: 8,629 kcal/L.

    Note:
    1. In 2024, the geographic boundary of the inventory was adjusted to accommodate customer service needs for proximity, adding the Kaohsiung office. The inventory boundary now covers the Hsinchu headquarters and offices in the central and southern regions.
    2. The boundary is delineated using the operational control method, and greenhouse gas emissions are calculated based on emission factors from the "EPA Greenhouse Gas Emission Factor Management Table Version 6.0.4." For Scope 2 emissions, the electricity emission factors for all Taiwanese facilities adopt the latest Taiwan Power Company (Taipower) electricity carbon emission factor data announced by the Bureau of Energy, Ministry of Economic Affairs for the respective year.
    3. Per capita carbon dioxide emission intensity calculation = Emissions / Total number of employees at year-end.
