    The Sustainability Committee is established under the Board of Directors. It primarily consists of two board members authorized by the Board who possess expertise and capabilities in corporate sustainability, along with the Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO). The CSO also participates in the committee to ensure the objectivity and independence of the decision-making process.The Committee is responsible for coordinating the company's overall sustainable development strategy, reviewing and overseeing the effectiveness and progress of various sustainability initiatives, and ensuring alignment between the company's sustainable governance direction and practical operations.

    Responsibilities and Scope of Authority

    To ensure the Company's sound operations and sustainable development, the Company established the "Risk Management Practice Guidelines" and "Risk Management Policy and Procedures" on August 24, 2023, to build an integrated risk management system. This system is jointly implemented by the Company's Board of Directors, Audit Committee, General Manager, Internal Audit Office, and all risk management units. Annually, each risk management unit identifies risks that may impact the Company's sustainable development,and screen risk management scopes. Based on the latest internal audit developments and standard requirements, the Company monitors potential risks and implements preventive measures to strengthen risk management.


    Considering its business and operational characteristics, the Company incorporates the following risk categories into its management:

    • Strategic Risk
    • Operational Risk:
    1. Raw Material Price and Supply Chain Risk
    2. Financial Risk
    3. Information Risk
    4. Compliance Risk
    5. Integrity Risk
    6. Other Emerging Risks (e.g., climate change and environmental or infectious disease-related risks)       


    Each business unit is the primary unit responsible for the initial identification, assessment, and control of risks. Business unit managers bear risk management responsibilities, overseeing and controlling relevant risks within their respective units to ensure the company's risk management system comprehensively and effectively manages such risks.

    The duties of the Sustainability Committee include the following:

    1. Formulating, promoting, and strengthening the company's sustainability policies, annual plans, and strategies.
    2. Reviewing, tracking, and revising the implementation and effectiveness of sustainable development initiatives.
    3. Overseeing sustainability disclosure matters and reviewing sustainability reports.
    4. Overseeing the implementation of the Company's Sustainable Development Code and other sustainable development-related tasks as resolved by the Board of Directors.

Since serving as Chairman of the Board, he has led the company in advancing and implementing numerous sustainability initiatives across Environmental (E), Social (S), and Governance (G) dimensions, embedding sustainability principles into the corporate culture.

Currently serves as Associate Professor in the Department of Accounting at Chaoyang University of Technology. Possesses practical experience as a director of listed companies, with expertise in finance, accounting, risk management, and corporate operations.

Currently serves as Managing Partner (Practicing Attorney) at Bo-Chun International Business Law Firm, holding a valid attorney license.
