Sustainability Issues in Educational Settings - Circular Nation

GENIIDEAS × Sustainable3Taiwan Education Fund Collaboration

Jointly organize edutainment activity courses in response to SDG 12 (responsible consumption and production). Starting from the current status of local resource recycling in Taiwan and understanding public pain points, we implement ESG through knowledge transfer and experience design, collaborating to integrate sustainability issues into education and move beyond traditional, rigid recycling frameworks.

We hope that our colleagues can break away from commonly known recycling guidelines through the game experience, and gain a comprehensive understanding from a “strategic management” perspective.

    • Economics Behind the Recycling Market
    • Differences and Challenges of Diverse Recycling Technologies

We can see the full picture of recycling and reconsider changes we can make in our daily lives. We also encourage our colleagues to volunteer in schools, continuing to spread this positive energy and engaging knowledge to a wider audience. Through the game, we hope that our colleagues will take away the following “practical values” and “sustainability mindsets”:

    • Material selection: Understand the importance of cleaning before recycling and recognize that single materials are easier to regenerate than composite materials.
    • Circular economy: Understand the downstream implications of different recycling channels and how the circular economy outperforms the linear economy in reducing carbon emissions.
    • Recycling applications: Gain insights into the range of products created from recycled materials, fostering a greater understanding of resource regeneration.
    • Policy and trends: Monitor Taiwan’s policy direction and international sustainability trends to stay in line with global development.

This event transforms learning from simply following rules to embracing a sustainable mindset in everyday consumption and recycling habits, and encourages us to work together to build a more environmentally friendly island.
